New US Dog Importation Regulations

On July 22, 2024, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) revised the rules for dogs crossing the U.S. border from low-risk countries, including Canada. These changes take effect August 1, 2024 and will impact dogs travelling from Canada to the U.S. This includes dogs from the US that temporarily visit Canada for veterinary care.
